Komodo is incredible year-round:
- Dry Season (Apr–Nov): Calm seas, great visibility
- Rainy Season (Dec–Mar): Fewer boats, manta season!
Yes! Try our SSI Try Scuba program—no experience needed. One of our instructors will guide you safely and slowly through your first underwater breath.
Expect encounters with:
- Manta rays
- Turtles
- Reef sharks
- Macro life (nudibranchs, frogfish)
- Colorful coral reefs and massive schools of fish
They can be strong in certain areas—but don’t worry. At Papiton Dive, we carefully select dive sites based on your experience and comfort level. Safety first, always.
Most dive sites are 10–30 meters deep. Your maximum depth depends on your certification level and comfort.

Of course! Our boats are snorkeler-friendly, and many sites have shallow reefs with incredible marine life.
Yes! Komodo night dives are full of surprises—octopus, cuttlefish, crabs, and glowing plankton await!
We highly recommend it for safety. If you don’t have one, dive computers are available to rent.
